$105,000 Lump Sum Settlement for Montgomery County Warehouse Worker.
Philadelphia worker’s compensation lawyer Jonathan Koutcher of Pearson Koutcher, LLP, represented a Montgomery County warehouse worker who fractured his foot after being hit by a forklift. Mr. Koutcher was able to increase the injured worker’s average weekly wage and corresponding weekly workers’ compensation rate during litigation in the case. Mr. Koutcher also filed a Petition to expand the diagnosis of the injured worker from a foot fracture to RSD/Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome, a very painful condition that can result after a crush type injury. The case required medical testimony and after attending a Mediation, the case was able to settle for the sum of $105,000.
