$125,000 lump sum settlement for Chester County factory worker.
A Chester County factory worker slipped and fell striking her head and injuring her wrist. The injured worker then began to develop knee pain. Philadelphia workers’ compensation attorney Jonathan Koutcher of Pearson Koutcher Law represented the injured worker and filed a petition to include the knee injury as work-related, which was important as the injured worker required surgery to her knee. During litigation the employer filed a petition to terminate or stop the injured worker’s benefits which Mr. Koutcher defended. Ultimately, the injured worker elected to settle her case for a lump sum amount of $125,000. In addition, all medical bills for the alleged knee injury were paid by the workers’ compensation insurance company.
