$170,000 Settlement for Montgomery County Union Sheet Metal Worker.
The injured worker in this case, represented by Philadelphia worker’s compensation lawyer Jonathan Koutcher, a partner at Pearson Koutcher, LLP, was struck by a metal beam causing shoulder and toe injuries. The injured worker underwent surgery to the shoulder. After the worker’s compensation insurance compensation requested the injured worker attend an independent medical evaluation, Mr. Koutcher filed a Petition to Review Compensation Benefits, alleging the description of the injuries on the Notice of Compensation Payable was materially incorrect. After litigation was commenced Mr. Koutcher was able to obtain a significant settlement for the injured worker.
