Dave Brown has 25 years’ experience as a lawyer and joined Pearson Koutcher after six years devoted exclusively to workers’ compensation and Social Security disability matters. At Pearson Koutcher, Dave handles workers’ compensation matters of all types and levels of complexity and chose the firm because of its outstanding reputation in advocating for injured workers.
A published author, Dave enjoys the writing that comes with litigation. He knows that a well-researched and written brief can make the difference between a case going to court or settling, or between a win or loss before the judge. Dave genuinely cares about his clients’ welfare, putting their interests first. Down to earth and compassionate, clients appreciate his calming nature, intellect, trustworthiness, and how he puts them at ease.
Dave is a hard-core sports fan and has written several books including Drinking Coffee with a Fork: The Story of Steve Carlton and The 72 Phillies, co-authored with Steve Bucci. He graduated from Gettysburg College in 1982 with a BA in Psychology and from the Dickinson School of Law in 1990. Dave, his wife, and their three children live in Downingtown.
