An injured school maintenance worker suffered a laceration of his wrist. While the injury did not seem serious initially, the injured worker developed a pain complex called reflex sympathetic dystrophy or chronic regional pain syndrome. The injured worker was represented by Pearson Koutcher Law Partner, Jonathan Koutcher. The injured worker was able to obtain treatment for his more serious pain condition which included stellate ganglion block injections and rehabilitative therapy. Rather than continue receiving weekly wage loss benefits checks, the injured worker elected to settle his Workers’ Compensation case for a lump sum amount of $95,000.
