An injured worker, a member of the Laborer’s Union, settled his Workers’ Compensation case for $95,000. The injured worker was represented by Jonathan Koutcher, of Pearson Koutcher Law. The injured worker had knee and back injuries and underwent knee surgery. Litigation was pending in the form of a Termination Petition filed by the employer alleging the injured worker fully recovered from his work injuries. If the employer was successful in the petition, the injured worker’s benefits would have been stopped. Mr. Koutcher was able to settle the case after many months of negotiations for $95,000.
